Denial Timer β built for tease, edge, and no release
Structured tease-and-denial sessions with edge targets (5, 10, 20, β), voice-led stop cues at every approach, an automatic back-off bell, and full session logging. Free, no signup, runs in your browser.
What you get
- Edge targets: 5, 10, 20 or infinite β the session marks complete when you hit the target
- Phase-aware voice cues (stroke / edge / rest) at a cadence you choose (15-120s)
- Configurable stroke / edge / rest phase durations in the settings drawer
- Edge counter persisted locally β survives reloads via browser storage
- BPM stroke pacer integrated β ticks only fire during the stroke phase, BPM goes silent on rest
- Mobile haptic feedback for tactile phase transitions
- Three visual modes including a calm breathing orb for rest phases
- All local β no account, no tracking, no payment
What is tease and denial?
Tease and denial (T&D) is an edging practice where the goal is explicitly *not* to climax β you bring yourself near an orgasm, then deliberately back off, then return. Sessions are usually structured around an edge count (often 5, 10, or 20) with full rest cycles between each approach. The point is to spend as much time as possible at high arousal without crossing the line; many practitioners do it as part of a longer chastity or kink routine, others just enjoy the heightened sensitivity.
Why a dedicated denial timer
Most generic timers don't know what an edge is β they just count seconds. A denial timer is different: it counts *edges*, structures the session around explicit rest periods, and tells you when the target is reached. Edge's denial timer ships with target counts (5/10/20/β), configurable stroke / edge / rest durations, and a phase-aware voice coach that adapts its cues as the cycle progresses. The BPM pacer goes silent during rest phases, so the rhythm naturally drops to zero between edges and ramps back up when the stroke phase resumes.
Setting denial targets and cadences
Open /session, select the VidΓ©o + Timer tab, pick the Denial preset, then choose your edge target (5/10/20/β) from the picker that appears. The phase durations default to 120s stroke / 45s edge / 15s rest but can be overridden in the timer's settings drawer. When you start the session, the edge counter shows progress as `X / target`, and the moment you reach the target a completion overlay lets you finish or keep going.
Pairing denial with the gooning timer
If you want a long denial session β over an hour β pair the denial timer with the gooning timer's long-cycle defaults. Set the rest periods to 45-60s, the edge target to β, and enable the breathing orb visual. This gives you the structure of denial (explicit edge counts, voice-led stops) layered on top of the gooning style (no fixed endpoint, trance-friendly visuals). Most experienced users find this combo the most rewarding for long T&D sessions.
Tracking denial streaks over time
Every denial session is logged locally with its duration, edge count, and the preset used. Over weeks you'll see patterns: which day of the week you do your best sessions, how your edge count progresses, when you hit plateaus. The dashboard surfaces a weekly count automatically. We don't push this data to a server β everything stays in your browser β and you can wipe it from the settings screen at any time.
How to run a denial session
- Pick a target edge count
Open /session, choose the Denial preset, and pick 5 (starter), 10 (default), 20 (intense), or β (open-ended).
- Set phase durations (optional)
The Denial preset defaults to 120s stroke / 45s edge / 15s rest. Open the timer settings drawer to override β shorter rests (8-15s) make the session harder, longer rests (45-60s) make it more sustainable.
- Enable the voice coach
Turn on voice cues with a 30-60s cadence. Cues are phase-aware: stroke / edge / rest each get their own line pool. Useful when your eyes are closed.
- Start the cycle
Press play. The pacer ticks at your chosen BPM during stroke phases and goes silent during rest, so the rhythm naturally drops between edges.
- Tap the edge counter on every approach
Every time you near an orgasm and back off, tap the counter. The timer uses your taps to track progress toward the target.
- Hit the target β choose Done or Continue
When the edge count reaches your target the timer shows a completion overlay. Tap Done to close the session or Continue to keep cycling beyond the target.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a denial timer and an edging timer?+
An edging timer cycles stroke/edge/rest by fixed time periods β you decide if you actually edge or not. A denial timer is built around the *edge count itself*: it announces stops before predicted edges, enforces back-off periods, and tracks your edge total against a target. Denial is stricter; edging is more flexible.
Can a denial timer prevent me from coming?+
No timer can physically prevent climax β you stay in control. What the timer does is provide structure: explicit stop cues, mandatory rest periods, a counter that creates a clear goal. Most users find that having that structure makes denial significantly easier than trying to track everything mentally.
How long should a denial session be?+
Starter sessions with 5 edges typically run 15-25 minutes. The 10-edge default lands around 30-50 minutes. The 20-edge or infinite mode can extend past 90 minutes. Always end on a long rest cue rather than mid-stroke to avoid finishing on the wind-down.
Does the timer integrate with a chastity device or partner?+
Not directly β there's no Bluetooth or partner-sync integration yet. If you wear a chastity device, the timer's edge counter and session log work as a record of your sessions; you can review them with a key-holder later. Real-time multi-device features are on the roadmap.
What's a ruined orgasm and can the timer help?+
A ruined orgasm is when you allow yourself to climax but stop all stimulation right at the moment of release, ruining the typical orgasmic peak. The denial timer's voice cues + edge counter help you practice the timing precisely, even though the timer itself doesn't differentiate between an edge and a ruined orgasm in the count.
Is the denial timer safe?+
Yes for healthy adults. As with all long edging sessions, hydrate, take breaks, and stop if you feel discomfort or numbness. People with cardiovascular conditions should consult a doctor before extended T&D sessions.
Can I save my favourite denial preset?+
Yes. The target edge count, rest duration, BPM, voice settings and visual mode are all persisted locally β they come back exactly as you left them on every new session.
Does the BPM really drop on rest?+
Yes. The BPM ticks only fire during the stroke phase β they stop completely during edge and rest, so the rhythm naturally drops to silence. Ticks resume at your chosen BPM when the next stroke phase starts.
Can I do denial without a video?+
Yes β pick 'Timer only' as your source. You get the rest cues, the edge counter, the voice, and the pacer with no clip distractions. Some practitioners prefer this for pure denial focus.
Is there a streak feature?+
Not yet β sessions are logged with their target and outcome, but a dedicated denial streak UI is on the roadmap. For now you can use the session list to track consecutive completed denials manually.
